EAI was established to address a clear gap in the Europe-Africa cooperation landscape. Despite the depth of historical, economic, and cultural connections between the two continents, meaningful partnership has too often been fragmented — conducted through bilateral channels, short-term initiatives, or frameworks that fail to reflect the evolving realities of both sides.
